all i see is you’ve responded here so it is clear what you really care about. beware!! reverb is a big company but they are ran by bad people update: thats funny because i have received no emails about anything from you sooo you’re lying here to everyone? let this be seen by everyone. they sided with the person that scammed me and suspended me from their site. On the most recent return the buyer contacted me saying Reverb took a long time to get back to him (poor communication). After some time he contacted me again informing me that he still hadn't gotten a return lable from Reverb but he didn't care because they refunded him.At this point I wait for Reverb to inform me with tracking that my guitar is being returned because that's what they've done in the past but they never did.I contacted the buyer this week that tells me he sent it out and he gave me the tracking info showing it has been delivered. This is crazy because I never got this tracking from Reverb and I didn't recieve the guitar either. The only response I've gotten from Reverb is them asking for the money to refund buyer.I've tried to get an answer from them several times through this useless chat line of there's and have had no response other than them requesting money for a guitar that wasn't returned. Sold a guitar and the customer wanted to return it.I've sold many guitars on Reverb and have had to deal with one other return before. The first return was simple.Reverb supplied buyer and me with a return lable and tracking info, I recieved it and let them know everything was ok with my guitar before they refunded the buyer. Reverb is still the best option for selling gear, but certainly could be better in many aspects. TLDR: if you lack the online literacy or critical thinking skills to avoid scams, don't do business online. But as a buyer and seller with hundreds of transactions, I can say that I've only had a small handful of issues, all of which were eventually resolved to my satisfaction. All said, Reverb COULD be a great site, as it was back before ETSY, and the lack of live customer service and the recent fee hikes are not an encouraging sign. If you send $1000 to a zero-feedback seller who only accepts PayPal, well buddy that's on you. I know that recent history has shown that a lot of people are susceptible to being conned by bad actors, but as a buyer or seller you need to stop for a second and think about whether the warning signs are there. A lot of the complaints on here are from people who either fell for the "offsite transaction" scam or the "price too good to be true" scam. Reverb is generally a trustworthy place to do business, but it is somewhat on the user to not fall for obvious scams. I have also deleted my reverb app and will Never buy or sell anything there again. So I have already made arrangements go sell the piece if junk guitar for the remainder of what I purchased if for. They just said, “we apologize for the frustrating experience” and I blocked the seller. I told Reverb about the experience and asked for a full refund. There is no room in the world for haters like him. Reverb did nothing to repair the damage this seller did with his words. In this mote, I was called a lot of derogatory names. After settling for a refund that the Second Resolution Expert proposed, I got a note from the seller along with a partial refund. The seller sold me something that did not play well. I had to fight for over a week to prove my case. The person who commented on here about people not being smart enough to talk to customer service, is wrong! I contacted support to help me resolve my issue with my purchase of a guitar from “Brock House Guitars”. My last review for this very poor online marketplace.
